The reason I fell in love with design is my favorite story of my career thus far – in 2016, I had designed and remodeled my first home in Louisiana, and it was on the market for only four hours before it sold. Coming from a design background (and kitchen design most recently), I feel my strong suits are helping people put their whole project together in a cohesive manner. Many people have a hard time visualizing a space, which makes it difficult for them to envision how everything will work and flow together. I have experience using 3D rendering programs and that was always amazing to show clients – once they see something put together, their eyes light up, and the whole experience changes from something stressful and overwhelming to something exciting. I’m most proud of the fact that I have repeat customers. Recently my customer Elizabeth and her husband have just finished the fourth house that we have done together since 1990. In this most recent house, she wanted to add a bathtub to the master bath and the builder was struggling to fit it in the space. I was able to suggest a layout of the bathroom fixtures to include the tub and they went with my suggestion. She is thrilled with the way it turned out.

Customers that are unfamiliar with all the nuances of plumbing often arrive at the showroom feeling apprehensive. Helping them overcome this is one of the most important parts of my job. Empowering a customer who is overwhelmed so that they are able to leave feeling excited about their choices gives me a great feeling of accomplishment. Knowing that I could help a homeowner find the right balance between beauty and function in their kitchen or bath is very satisfying.

As a showroom consultant I strive to understand the needs of my clients in a way that will allow me to make recommendations to create their ideal space. I hope to use my years of experience and extensive knowledge in the decorative plumbing industry to inform, engage, and ultimately accomplish my customer’s goals. I want all of my clients to leave our showroom feeling like they had a fun and educational experience, and trusting that I’ve pointed them in the right direction for their project, no matter how large or small it may be.

What service do you provide? – Showroom, consulting, work with plumbers, builders, designers, sell decorative plumbing.
How do you provide this service? – Personally, by appointment, walk-ins, email, by phone. Most customers come in and see the showroom.
What value are you bringing to your customer? – 26 years of plumbing experience and product knowledge. Extraordinary customer care and a beautiful showroom to see it all.
What makes you different? – I take the time and care with my clients and have the knowledge to give them the best service. I always make it fun as well.
Notes: We are starting to sell more clean lines, contemporary, transitional. We definitely sell more plumbing than we do hardware.

I started in this industry in 1987. I have been in many positions in this industry before being in the showroom such as: purchasing, receiving, office manager, accounts payable and receivable, collections, so I have a great understanding of my job as well as my associates, which I feel really gives me a great perspective and helps me in sales from beginning to the end of the project. My husband is English which has enabled me to live and travel in Britain, as well as visiting many countries in Europe, Africa, Asia and the Americas. I had a customer come in stressed and worried because she was missing a plumbing part that would slow down her renovation. I took time to explore every avenue till we eventually acquired the part that was needed. My customer was able to keep on schedule for her big reveal with her family. The home remodel process at times can be overwhelming and confusing but that is why we are here. I enjoy taking time to work step by step with clients to break down and simplify the process. I have the expertise to alleviate the stress of deciding what fixture to choose for both your kitchen and bath. It is as easy as choosing a finish and style you love. I love helping a client find a fixture they can design the kitchen or bathroom around.

11 Years in the plumbing fixture business is pretty much my career highlight. I’ve worked for and learned from some of the best companies in the business, both in Los Angeles and in Portland. I have always looked forward to going to work every day since day one of my entrance into the plumbing business, and have year-in and year-out been amongst the top sales people at each company. I am absolutely thrilled about being with CSCO and will strive to be the very best I can be at my job and always with consideration and respect for my fellow employees.

As a consultant one of my favorite things is providing a solution for clients that have either been told something doesn’t exist or will not work. I love collaborating with my fellow showroom staff and coming up with several options to find the perfect fit for each client no matter how big or small the project.
